The building's 60s-70s original architecture felt disconnected from its Andalusian surroundings, but we appreciated its simplicity, volumetric design, and brutalist charm, especially its relationship with outdoor spaces.

Born in Malaga, Picasso's influence brings curves, colour, and a feminine touch to soften the building's orthogonal structure. Spaces like the bar and pool will have a chic, vintage flair, and the all-day restaurant will blend greenery with traditional Andalusian tile colours.

In general, the design of the different spaces looks for a fresh, vacation-like atmospherewith a vintage Mediterranean vibe. This is achieved by creating cosy corners through natural materials, greenery, Mediterranean craftsmanship, and curated furniture.

Our design goal is to reconnect with the local context through a "70s twist," blending contemporary elements with Mediterranean influences. Inspired by Marbella's old town, we incorporate geometric stone patterns, terracotta tiles, and playful curves and light filters.
